1. LAW (lei)
A LEI é muito complicada neste país.
The LAW is very complicated in this country.
Você deve respeitar a LEI
You must respect the LAW.
Ele não entende a LEI
He doesn’t understand the LAW
Does not = doesn’t
2. PUT (colocar)
Eu sempre COLOCO o livro na mesa.
I always PUT the book on the table.
Ele sempre coloca o livro na mesa.
He always PUTS the book on the table.
Nós não vamos colocar o dinheiro na mesa.
We will not PUT the money on the table.
We won’t PUT the money on the table.
3. UNDER (abaixo, em baixo, sob)
Se ele vier, vou me esconder EMBAIXO da mesa.
If he comes, I will hide UNDER the table.
Ele está SOB pressão.
He is UNDER pressure.
A caneta não está em cima da mesa, ela está abaixo da mesa.
The pen is not on the table, it is UNDER the table.
